6.10. THE ELEVATION DOES NOT GO DOWN
This error occurs when the limit switch is broken or disconnected: in fact, under these conditions
the broken or disconnected microswitch gives an open contact, which is interpreted by the machine
as having reached the lower travel limit, causing further downward movements to be inhibited.
The machines do not immediately generate an error, but will do so as soon as the elevation is
increased to more than 1%. At this point, the elevation function will be locked out and parameter
PAR 07 set to 1.
The state of the microswitch signal is indicated by the DWN_SW LED: if ON it means
that the microswitch is pressed, and if OFF the microswitch is released.
It might also be helpful to refer to the theoretical explanation of the elevation control,
provided in paragraph 3.3. “Elevation motor drive”.
