Before installing third-party software on the computer running QuantStudio
™
Design
and Analysis Desktop Software, conrm that the third-party software will not do the
following:
• Restrict Ethernet communication.
• Interfere with instrument or computer operation.
Supported options for instrument and computer connections
We support the following direct, networked (LAN– local area network), or Cloud
congurations. Congurations other than those listed are not recommended. Select a
conguration that meets the needs of your laboratory's instrument, software, and
workow requirements.
IMPORTANT! Do not connect both an Ethernet cable and the Wi-Fi module
(Cat. No. A26774) to the instrument. Conguring the instrument for both wired and
wireless connection can interfere with instrument operation.
