TheGroundsmaster360hasbeentestedandcertiedbyT oroforcompliance
withexistingsafetystandardsandspecications.Althoughhazardcontroland
accidentpreventionaredependentpartiallyuponthedesignandconguration
ofthemachine,thesefactorsarealsodependentontheawareness,concern,
andpropertrainingofthepersonnelinvolvedintheoperation,transport,
maintenance,andstorageofthemachine.Theimproperuseormaintenanceby
theoperatororownerofthemachinecanresultininjuryordeath.

Toreducethepotentialofinjuryordeath,complywiththefollowing
safetyinstructionsaswellasinformationfoundintheOperator’s
Manuals.
SupervisorsResponsibilities
1.EnsurethattheoperatorsarefullytrainedandfamiliarwiththeOperator’s
Manual,Operator’sTrainingDVD,andalloftheoperatingandsafetydecals
onthemachine.
2.Establishyourownspecialproceduresandworkrulesforunusualoperating
conditions(e.g.,slopestoosteepformachineoperation).Surveythemowing
sitecompletelytodeterminehillsonwhichyoucanoperatesafely.When
performingthissitesurvey,alwaysunderstandandtakeintoconsideration
theturfconditionandrolloverrisk.Toperformasitesurvey,followthe
procedureoutlinedintheOperator’sManual.
BeforeOperatingtheMachine
ReviewandunderstandthecontentsoftheOperator’sManualsand
Operator’sTrainingDVDbeforestartingandoperatingthemachine.Become
familiarwiththecontrolsandknowhowtostopthemachineandengine
quickly.AdditionalcopiesoftheOperatorsManualsareavailableat
www.toro.com.
Keepalltheshields,safetydevices,anddecalsinplace.Ifashield,safety
device,ordecalisillegibleordamaged,repairorreplaceitbeforeoperating
themachine.
Tightenanyloosenuts,bolts,orscrewstoensurethatthemachineisin
safeoperatingcondition.
Ensurethattheinterlockswitchesareadjustedcorrectlysothattheengine
doesnotstartunlessthetractionpedalisintheNEUTRALposition,thePTO
switchisintheOFF(disengaged)position,andeithertheseatisoccupiedor
theparkingbrakeisapplied.
Dieselfuelishighlyammable;handleitcarefully.
Storefuelincontainersspecicallydesignedforstoringfuel.
Donotremovethefueltankcapofthemachinewhiletheengineishot
orrunning.
Donotsmokewhilehandlingfuel.
Fillthefueltankoutdoorsandonlytothebottomofthellerneck.Donot
overllthefueltank.
Replacethefueltankandfuelcontainercapssecurelyafterrefuelling
themachine.
