TestingtheWorkLightSwitch
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,andshutoffthe
engine.Removethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Toaccesstheswitch,removetheroofpanelfromthetopofthecab;referto
RoofAssembly(page8–10).
3.Removethelightsswitchpanelfromthecabheadliner.
4.Disconnectthemachinewireharnessconnectorfromtheswitchthatyou
aretesting.
5.TheswitchterminalsareidentiedinFigure221andthecircuitryofthe
switchisshownintheCircuitLogicTable(page5–77).Withtheuseofa
multimeter(ohmssetting),testtheswitchfunctionstodetermineifcontinuity
existsbetweenthevariousterminalsforeachswitchposition.Checkthe
continuitybetweentheswitchterminals.
