TestingtheWindshieldWasher/WiperSwitch
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,settheparking
brake,andshutofftheengine.
2.Toaccesstheswitch,removetheroofpanelfromthetopofthecab;referto
RoofAssembly(page8–10).
3.Removetheleftorrightdefrostventhosefromtheheatandairconditioning
mixingboxtoaccesstheangenutssecuringtheswitchpanelandremove
theswitchpanelfromthecabheadliner.
4.Disconnectthewireharnesselectricalconnectorfromthewindshield
wiper/washerswitch.
5.Thewindshieldwiper/washerswitchterminalsareidentiedinFigure215
andthecircuitryoftheswitchisshownintheCircuitLogicTable(page5–72).
Withtheuseofamultimeter(ohmssetting),testtheswitchfunctionsto
determineifcontinuityexistsbetweenthevariousterminalsforeachswitch
position.Checkthecontinuitybetweentheswitchterminals.
