TestingtheAirConditioningSwitch
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,settheparking
brake,andshutofftheengine.
2.Toaccesstheswitch,removetheroofpanelfromthetopofthecab;referto
RoofAssembly(page8–10).
3.Removetheair/heatpanelfromthecabheadliner.
4.Disconnectthewireharnesselectricalconnectorfromtheairconditioning
switch.
5.TheairconditioningswitchterminalsareidentiedinFigure217andthe
circuitryoftheswitchisshownintheCircuitLogicT able(page5–74).With
theuseofamultimeter(ohmssetting),testtheswitchfunctionstodetermine
ifcontinuityexistsbetweenthevariousterminalsforeachswitchposition.
Checkthecontinuitybetweentheswitchterminals.
