Additionally,someenginerepairproceduresaredescribedinthismanual.The
describedadjustmentsandrepairsrequiretoolswhicharecommonlyavailablein
manyserviceshops.SpecialtoolsaredescribedintheYanmarEngineService
Manual.Theuseofsomespecializedtestequipmentisexplained.However,
thecostofthetestequipmentandthespecializednatureofsomerepairsmay
dictatethattheworkbedoneatanenginerepairfacility.
ServiceandrepairpartsfortheYanmarenginesaresuppliedthroughyour
AuthorizedToroDistributor.Ifthepartslistisnotavailable,provideyour
distributorwiththeT oroModelandSerialNumberofyourmachine.

maintenance,andmaintenanceintervalsforyourmachine.Refertothe

TheenginethatpowersyourGroundsmastermachineisaYanmarModel
3TNV88C-DTR3(usedonGroundsmaster360Models31200and31202),aTier
4Fcompliantengine.TheYanmarEngineServiceandTroubleshootingManual
areavailablefortheseengines.Ensurethatthecorrectenginemanualsare
usedwhenservicingtheengineonyourmachine.
EngineElectronicControlUnit(ECU)
TheYanmarengineusedintheGroundsmaster360machineusesanelectronic
controlunit(ECU)forenginemanagementandtocommunicatewithoperator
InfoCenteronthemachine.TheengineECUislocatedinsidethepowercenter
assemblybehindtheoperatorseat.
IMPORTANT
DonotplugorunplugtheengineECUfor30secondsafterthe
machinekeyswitchisturnedoff.TheengineECUmayremain
energizedeventhoughthekeyswitchisintheOFFposition.
IfyoumustdisconnecttheengineECUforanyreason,ensurethatthekeyswitch
isintheOFFpositionwiththekeyremovedbeforedisconnectingtheengineECU.
Also,topreventpossibleengineECUdamagewhenweldingonthemachine,
disconnectandremovetheengineECUfromthemachinebeforewelding.
Theengineelectricalcomponents(e.g.,engineECU,fuelinjectors,EGR,and
exhaustDPF)areidentiedandmatchedintheengineECUprogram.Ifthe
engineelectricalcomponentsarereplaced,theYanmarelectronictoolmust
beusedtoupdatetheengineECUprogramwhichwillensurecorrectengine
operation.
IftheengineECUidentiesthatanengineproblemexists,theenginespeed
maybereducedortheenginemayshutoff.TheYanmartroubleshootingmanual
andelectronicdiagnosistoolshouldbeusedtoprovideassistanceinidentifying
