poweroutputtoallowcertainmachinefunctions.Thecontrollerisattached
insidethepowercenterassemblybehindtheoperatorseat(Figure201).Use
theInfoCenterdisplaywhencheckingtheinputsandoutputsoftheTECused
onyourmachine.
Thelogicpowerisprovidedtothecontrolleraslongasthebatterycablesare
connectedtothebattery.Circuitprotectionforthislogicpowertothecontrolleris
providedby2Afuse.
Theinputsfromthekey,neutral,parkingbrake,PTO,seat,decklift,steering
selector,enginespeed,steeringhomeswitches,andenginetemperaturesender
areallmonitoredbythecontroller.
Thecurrentoutputtothefollowingcomponentsarecontrolledbasedonthe
inputsreceivedbythecontroller.

Liftcircuithydraulicvalvesolenoidcoils

TheInfoCenterdisplaysamachinefaultcodeanddescriptionwhenanissue
isdetected.
TheconnectionterminalfunctionsfortheTECareshowninFigure202.Note
thatelectricalpowerforthecontrolleroutputsisprovidedthrough3connectors
(PWR2,PWR3,andPWR4)eachprotectedwitha7.5Afuse.A50pinwire
harnessconnectorattachestothecontroller.Theconnectorpinsareidentied
inFigure202.
IMPORTANT
Whentestingforwireharnesscontinuityattheconnectorforthe
TEC,ensurethatyoudonotdamagetheconnectorpinswiththe
multimetertestleads.Iftheconnectorpinsareenlargedordamaged
duringtesting,connectorrepairwillbenecessaryforproper
machineoperation.
