Testing
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdecks,andshutoff
theengine.Removethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Toaccesstheresistor,removethesunshadefromthetopoftheROPS
extension.
3.Disconnectthewireharnessconnectorsfromtheresistormoduleterminals.
4.Useamultimetertocheckthattheresistancevaluesoftheresistormodule
asbelow:

MotorPinPin2Lessthan6ohms
MotorPinPin3Lessthan3ohms
5.Replacetheresistormoduleifitfailsthetest.
6.Iftheresistormoduletestingiscorrectandacircuitproblemstillexists,check
thewireharness;refertoAppendixA(pageA–1)-FoldoutDrawings.
7.Afteryoucompletethetesting,connectthewireharnessconnectorstothe
resistormoduleterminals(Figure245)andinstallthesunshade.
