RemovingthePTOSolenoidValveCoil
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,settheparking
brake,shutofftheengine,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.RaisetheoperatorseattogetaccesstothePTOsolenoidvalvecoil.
3.DisconnectthewireharnesselectricalconnectorfromthePTOsolenoid
valvecoilconnector.
4.Removethenutfromthespoolassembly.
5.Slidethecoilassemblyfromthesolenoidvalvestem(Figure247).
6.Cleananycorrosionordirtfromthevalvestem.
InstallingthePTOSolenoidValveCoil
1.Slidethenewcoilassembly,seals,andwashersontothesolenoidvalvestem.
Ensurethatyoucorrectlypositionthesealsandwashers(Figure247).Coil
shouldbeinstalledsothe“KANZAKI”moldedintothecoilhasthe“I”nearest
thenutlocationascoildirectionisimportantforpropersolenoidoperation.
IMPORTANT
Whensecuringthesolenoidvalvecoiltothesolenoid,donot
overtightenthehexnut.
2.Installthehexnutontothespoolassemblyandtorquethenutto5.9to7.8
N∙m(53to69in-lb).
3.Connectthewireharnesselectricalconnectortothesolenoidvalvecoil
connector.
4.Lowerandsecuretheoperatorseat.
