raisedmachinewithappropriatejackstands.
5.Ensurethatthesteeringcylinderrodends(bothfrontandrear)areproperly
installed.Thedistancefromtheendofthecylindershafttothecenterofthe
rodendgreasettingshouldbe44.5mm(1.750inches).Ifnecessary,loosen
therodendjamnut(item1inFigure256)andadjustthelocationoftherod
end.Afteradjustment,torquethejamnutto113to136N∙m(83to101ft-lb).
IMPORTANT
Afterinstallationofeitherofthesteeringalignmenttools,donot
rotatethesteeringwheel.Rotatingthesteeringwheelwitheitheror
bothofthealignmenttoolsinplacewilldamagethetools.
Note:Installationofsteeringalignmenttools(SpecialTools(page6–4))to
themachineensuresthatthesteeringcomponentsareproperlycenteredto
themachinesothatcorrectwheelalignmentcanbeachieved.
