RemovingtheWheel
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,shutoffthe
engine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Blockthewheelswithchockstopreventthemachinefrommoving.
3.Loosen,butdonotremovethe5wheel-lugnutsthatattachthewheelto
themachine.
IMPORTANT
Beforeliftingthemachinewithajack,reviewandfollowJacking
Instructions(page1–7).
4.Liftthemachinewithajackuntilthewheeltoberemovedisofftheground.
Supportthemachinewithappropriatejackstands.
5.Removethe5wheel-lugnutsthatattachthewheeltothemachine,and
removethewheel.
6.Ifthefrontwheelwasremoved,locateandretrievethefrontwheelspacer.
InstallingtheWheel
1.Ifthefrontwheelwasremoved,positionthefrontwheelspacertothewheel
hub.
2.Installthewheeltothemachinewiththe5wheel-lugnuts.
3.Lowerthemachinetotheground.
WARNING
Failuretomaintainpropertorquecouldresultinfailureorlossof
wheelandmayresultinpersonalinjury.
Maintainthepropertorqueofthewheel-lugnuts.
4.Torquethewheel-lugnutsevenlyto102to115N∙m(75to85ft-lb)ina
crossingpattern.
5.Checkandadjustthetirepressures;refertoSpecications(page6–2).
