RemovingtheExhaustSystem
CAUTION
Ahotengineandexhaustsystemcancauseburns.
Allowtheengineandtheexhaustsystemtocoolbeforeworking
onornearthem.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,shutoffthe
engine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Unlatchthehoodandraiseit.
3.RemovetheexhausttubeasshowninFigure9.
Note:TheexhaustsystemDPFandDOCcanberemovedfromtheexhaust
systemwithoutremovingtheentireexhaustsystemfromtheengine.Referto
theYanmarEngineServiceManualforcompletedisassemblyandassembly
procedures.
InstallingtheExhaustSystem
1.Installtheexhausttubeasfollows:
A.Installallthefastenersngertight.
B.Startingatthebottom,tightentheangenuts(item5inFigure9).
C.Tightenthelowerexhaustclamp.
D.Tightentheupperexhaustclamp.
2.Lowerthehoodandsecureitwiththelatches.
