6.Removethe8ribbedneckboltsand8angenutsthatattachthespindle
assemblytothedeck,andremovethespindleassemblyfromthedeck.
InstallingtheBladeSpindle
1.Positionthespindleonthecuttingdeckandnotetheorientationofthegrease
tting(Figure307).Attachthespindleassemblytothedeckwiththe8ribbed
neckboltsand8angenuts.
2.Installthecuttingblade,anti-scalpcup,andbladebolt(Figure306);torque
thebladeboltto119to146N∙m(88to108ft-lb).
3.Slowlyrotatethecuttingbladestocheckthatthebladesdonotcontactany
deckcomponent(s).
4.Installthedrivebelttothedeckpulleys.
5.Lubricatethespindlegreasettings.
6.Installthebeltcoverstothecuttingdeck.
7.Lowerthefootrest.
