InstallingtheAirConditioningCondenserAssembly
1.Ifthecondenserassemblywasdisassembled,doasfollows:
A.Toproperlysealthecondensercore,applyRTVsealanttoallmating
surfacesofwalls,lowerlegs,andcondensercorebeforeassembly.
B.AssembleallthecondenserassemblycomponentsasshowninFigure
328.
Note:Ensurethatthestripandedgesealsareingoodconditionafter
assembly.
2.Carefullylowertheairconditioningcondenserassemblythroughthe
headlinerandontothecabframe.
3.Securetheairconditioningcondenserassemblytothecabframewiththe4
angenuts.
4.Removethecapsthatwereplacedonthehosesandttingsduringthe
removalprocess.Usethelabelsthatyouattachedduringremovaltocorrectly
connectthehosestothecondensercore.
5.Securethecondenserfanassemblytothemachine;refertoInstallingtheAir
ConditioningCondenserFanAssembly(page8–16).
6.Ensurethatallthemachineairconditioningcomponentsareinstalledand
secure.
7.Haveacertiedairconditioningservicetechnicianevacuatetheair
conditioningsystemcompletely,properlyrechargethesystemwithR134a
refrigerant,andperformtheleaktestonthesystem.
Note:Thecapacityoftheairconditioningsystemis1.55kg(3.43lb)of
R134arefrigerant.
8.Whenyoucompletetheserviceinthecabheadliner,securetheroofpanelto
thetopofthecab;refertoInstallingtheRoofAssembly(page8–11).
