Securethebracketwiththe2angenuts.Tightentheangenutsevenly
andonlysufcientsothatthetankissnugtotheframe.
4.Usethelabelsthatyouattachedduringfueltankremovaltocorrectlyconnect
thehosestothestandpipe(item33inFigure12),returnelbowtting,and
90°elbowttingonthetopofthefueltank.Securethehoseswiththehose
clamps.
5.Applyanti-seizelubricanttothethreadsofthe2button-headscrews(item
28inFigure12)thatsecurethecoverplatetothefueltank.Installthecover
plateandtightenthescrewsto2.3to3.3N∙m(20to30in-lb).
6.Connectthenegativebatterycabletothenegativebatterypost.
7.Addfueltothetankandprimethefuelsystem;refertoPrimingtheFuel
System(page3–17).
8.Checkthefuelhosesandttingsforleaks.
Note:Repairallfuelleaksbeforeoperatingthemachine.
9.Lowerthehoodandsecureitwiththelatches.
10.Lowertheoperatorseat.
