Nozzle Setup
Installing Nozzle & Nozzle Tip
1. Open the enclosure doors to stop operation and allow manual manipulation of the
nozzle.
2. Manually move the Pick & Place Head to the left side of the bridge so it is easily
accessible from the left side doors.
3. Rotate the large pulley above the nozzle so the
set screw faces you and is easily accessible.
4. Locate the flat side of the Nozzle Shank. Insert
the Nozzle into the Pick & Place Head Nozzle
Shaft, lining the flat side of the shank up with
the set screw.
Caution!
If using a nozzle with a square reflector, ensure the set screw is fac-
ing the front of the machine so the nozzle can be installed with the
reflector parallel to the Pick Head Bridge.
Failure to mount the square nozzle in this manner will cause it to col-
lide with other parts and will damage the machine and nozzle.
