Coolant Temperature Sensor, Remove and
Install
Removal Procedure
1. Open coolant drain bolt – collect escaping coolant.
2. Detach wiring harness plug (2).
3. Detach coolant temperature sensor (1) from cylinder
head.
Clean
1. Clean sealing surfaces and remove gasket remnants.
Installation Procedure
1. Attach coolant temperature sensor to cylinder head with
new seal ring (3).
Tighten
Tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lb. ft.
2. Connect wiring harness plug to coolant temperature
3. Close coolant drain bolt.
