Radiator Hose Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Drain the coolant from the radiator so that the level
of the coolant is below the hose that is being
removed.
2. Remove the radiator hose clamps.
3. Remove the upper radiator hose from the radiator
and the coolant thermostat housing.
4. Remove the lower radiator hose from the radiator
and the coolant pipe.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the lower radiator hose to the radiator and
to the coolant pipe.
2. Install the upper radiator hose to the radiator and
the coolant thermostat housing.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.
3. Install the radiator hose clamps.
Tighten
Tighten the radiator hose clamps to 2.5 N•m (22 lb in).
4. Add the coolant to the proper level. Refer to
Draining and Filling Cooling System.
5. Start the engine and check for leaks.

Fuel Injection Coolant Hose Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Drain the coolant from the radiator so that the level
of the coolant is below the hose.
2. Remove the radiator hose clamps.
3. Remove the fuel injection coolant hose from the
radiator and the fuel injection unit.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the fuel injection coolant hose to the
radiator and the fuel injection unit.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.
2. Install the hose clamps.
Tighten
Tighten the hose clamps to 2.5 N•m (22 lb in).
3. Add the coolant to the proper level. Refer to
Draining and Filling Cooling System.
4. Start the engine and check for leaks.
