Removal Procedure
1. Remove engine vent hose (1) from camshaft housing and
engine vent flange.
2. Detach engine vent flange (3) from cylinder block and
remove downward with gasket.
Clean
1. Clean sealing surfaces.
Installation Procedure
1. Insert new seal (2) – note installation position, bead (1)
must point upwards to engine vent flange.
2. Attach engine vent flange to cylinder block –
Tighten
Tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lb. ft.
3. Attach engine vent hose to engine vent flange and cam-
shaft housing.
