3. Removal
1) Disconnect the electrical connection
from the 3/2-way solenoid valve (3).
2) Remove the four screws (4).
3) Carefully remove the starting air valve
from the cylinder cover (5).
4) Remove and discard the gasket (13).
5) Put applicable protection over the
opening in the cylinder cover (5).
4. Disassemble
1) Put the starting air valve in a vice.
Make sure that the vice jaws do not
damage the starting air valve.
2) Remove the two screws (7).
3) Remove the cover (1) together with the
3/2-way solenoid valve (3).
4) Remove the self-locking nut (8) while
holding the spindle with a spanner (22
mm)
5) Remove the piston (9) from the valve
spindle (10).
6) Remove the compression spring (12)
from the housing (2).
7) Remove the valve spindle (10) from the
housing (2).
8) Remove and discard the O-rings (11,
