2.2 Proximity Sensors (ZS5124 and ZS5125) − Replace
1) Put a mark on the applicable cable to identify its position.
2) Disconnect the applicable electrical connection from the proximity sensor (1, Fig. 4)

3) Loosen the locknut (3).
4) Remove the proximity sensor (1) from the holder (3).
5) Attach the new proximity sensor to the holder (3).
6) Make sure that the proximity sensor touches the crank angle mark (2).
7) Loosen the proximity sensor three full turns (3 x 360) to get a clearance of 3.0 mm
between the crank angle mark (2) and the bottom face of the proximity sensor (1).
8) Carefully tighten the locknut (3) with your fingers.
9) Connect the electrical connection to the proximity sensor (1). Refer to the mark
made before to identify the correct cable.
