5. Remove the battery, Figure 2.

6. Push the holder in the direction of arrow
and remove the belt, Figure 3. (The CIS
will be released at the same time)

7. Release the belt and flat cable from the
CIS, Figure 4.

8. Remove 2screws securing the scan motor
assembly and remove it, Figure 5.
