Split-type drive shaft
For the newly-designed lower unit, a split-type drive shaft has been adopted. The intermediate shaft is
secured to the drive shaft component using a bolt. The change of the shaft length has enabled the in-
tegrated lower unit to support a wider range of transoms. In addition, the removal of the intermediate
shaft has facilitated easy servicing and storage.
