5 • The robot-axis position-type vari-
able is not defined.
6 • The base-axis position-type vari-
able is not defined.
7 • The station-axis position-type vari-
able is not defined.
4436 LESS THAN 3
STEP
(CIRCULAR)
--- An error occurred in circular inter-
polation instruction execution.
• There is no continuous three
points or more for circular interpo-
lation step.
Reset the alarm, and then perform teaching
so that circulation interpolation steps are con-
tinuous three points or more.
4437 LESS THAN 3
STEP (SPLINE)
--- An error occurred in spline interpo-
lation instruction execution.
• There is no continuous three
points or more for spline interpola-

Reset the alarm, and then perform teaching
so that spline interpolation steps are continu-

4438 UNDEFINED
JOB
--- The job to be executed is not regis-

• Reset the alarm, and then register the job.
• Delete the CALL/JUMP instruction where
an alarm occurred.
4439 UNDEFINED
LAVEL
--- An error occurred in label jump exe-

• Reset the alarm, and then execute the mas-
ter (start) job.
• Delete the RET instruction.
4441 LACK OF LOCAL
VARIABLE AREA
--- An error occurred when memory
area for local variable was
obtained.
• Memory area is lacking because
too many local variables in the job
are used.
Reset the alarm, and then reduce the number
of local variables to be used.
4444 UNSUCCESS-
FUL FINE POSI-
TIONING
--- When PL = 0 or an external servo
turned OFF, the number of the
servo error pulses did not fall in the
limit range that had been set in a
parameter, within the specified
time.
• Reset the alarm, and then check if external
force is applied to the manipulator. If exter-
nal force is applied to the manipulator,
move the manipulator by the axis operation,
etc. to remove the external force. Then, try
again.
• If the error occurs again although no exter-
nal force is applied to the manipulator, re-
insert the system CPU board correctly.
If the error occurs again, contact your
Yaskawa representative.
