Function
The
auxiliary
function
is
instructed
by
a
number
of
up
to
three
digits
following
M.
Except
in
specific
M
codes,
the
definitions
of
MOO
to
M89
depend
on
the
specifications
of
machine
tool
builders.
For
details,
refer
to
command
or
reference
manuals
issued
by
your
machine
tool
builder.
The
following
describes
the
specific
M
codes
relating
to
the
NC
equipment.

codes
related
to
stopping
(MOO,
M01,
M02,
M30)
(1)
MOO
(program
stop)
When
MOO
is
instructed
during
automatic
operation,
the
automatic
operation
is
interrupted
after
the
operation
of
that
block
isexcuted
and
the.
MOOR
signal
is
selected.
The
operation
can
be
restarted
by
depressing
the
cycle
start
switch.
(2)
M01
(optional
stop)
When
M01
is
instructed
when
the
OPTIONAL
STOP
switch
is
on,
the
same
operation
as
with
MOO
is
performed.
If
the
OPTIONAL
STOP
switch
is
off,
M01
is
disregarded.

M02
(end
of
program)
M02
is
used
to
terminate
the
program.
When
M02
is
instructed
during
automatic
operation,
the
automatic
operation

terminated
after
the
operation
of
that
block
is
executed
and
then
stopped.
At
this
time,

NC
equipment
is
generally
reset.

the
equipment
actually
responds
varies
with

type.

tape)
M30
is
normally
used
to
tenninate
the
tape.
When
M30
is
instructed
during
automatic
operation,
the
automatic
operation

terminated
after

operation

executed
and
then
stopped.
At
this
time,
the
NC
equipment
is
generally
reset
and,
simultaneously,
memory
rewind
is
executed.
How
the
equipment
actually

type.

advance
reading.
