7.5 The IP Alias Screen
IP alias allows you to partition a physical network into different logical networks
over the same Ethernet interface. The P-792H v2 supports three logical LAN
interfaces via its single physical Ethernet interface with the P-792H v2 itself as the
gateway for each LAN network.
When you use IP alias, you can also configure firewall rules to control access
between the LAN's logical networks (subnets).
Note: Make sure that the subnets of the logical networks do not overlap.
The following figure shows a LAN divided into subnets A, B, and C.

Modify Click the modify icon to have the IP address field editable and change
it.
Apply Click this to save your changes.
Cancel Click this to restore your previously saved settings.
Refresh Click this to reload the DHCP table.
