Click on the Low Cal button and verify that the meter's reading has stabilized at approximately 4 ma.
Enter the Multi Meter reading in the Enter Measured Value window.
Click OK.
Click on the High Cal button and verify that the meter's reading has stabilized at approximately 20 ma.
Enter the Multi Meter reading in the Enter Measured Value window.
Click OK.
The Analog Output is now calibrated.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To test the calibration, click on the appropriate AO button in the Current Values section and
enter a value 0 - 100% and note the reading on the meter. (25% = 8 ma, 50% = 12ma, 75% = 16 ma, 100% = 20
ma)
6.16 How to Change Orifice Plate
Use one of the following procedures when changing an orifice plate.
6.16.1 Taking Meter Run Out-of-Service Procedure (Simplex Fitting)
DANGER – Serious damage to health / risk to life. Explosive gas and high pressure present. Work should
only be performed by qualified individuals.
To replace the orifice plate on a flow computer using a Simplex Fitting:
Remove meter run from service.
Replace the orifice plates.
Skip to Step 11 if recording the Volume Calculation is not desired.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the Volume Calculation Period is set to anything less than 60 minutes, Totalflow
recommends performing either the Reset Log Period or the Reset Volume command to enhance the audit trail
created by the event.
Connect the PC running PCCU32 to the flow computer with either an MMI cable (RS-232), a USB cable or an
Ethernet cable.
Open PCCU.
Select the Entry button from the toolbar.
Select Flow Measurement.
Select the Commands tab from the open pane.
Change the value in the Reset Log Period field to Yes
Click Send.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the Log Period is reset a new record will be written based on the old orifice size.
The accumulated volume may also be zeroed by using the Reset Volume command.
Connect the PC running PCCU32 to the flow computer with either an MMI cable (RS-232), a USB cable or an
Ethernet cable.
Open PCCU.
Select the Entry button from the toolbar.
