4 Monitoring the ECG
This chapter will provide information about:
l applying monitoring electrodes,
l selecting the correct lead,
l setting and disabling the heart rate (HR) alarm, and
l adjusting the ECG size.
For information on how to apply multifunction defib electrode pads, follow
the directions on the pads packaging.
