6-6 Defibrillating in Manual Mode
Defibrillation Procedure
Once you have prepared to defibrillate in Manual Mode, perform the follow-
ing steps.
1. Select Energy
To select the energy setting, move the Energy Select knob to the desired
energy level as shown in Figure 6-4. Energy choices range from 2 to 200
joules, with the suggested level for adults being 150 joules.
