To connect the SpO
2
patient cable:
1. Hold the connector with the flat side facing away from the
Heartstream XL, as shown in Figure 10-3.
2. Insert the connector into the receptacle and push until the blue portion
of the connector is no longer visible.

patient cable, gently pull the connector out of the
SpO
2
receptacle.
