Description This command enables the generation and the reception of AIS messages and applies to Y.1731 SAP
MEPs only.

Description This command configures the client Maintenance Entity Group (MEG) level(s) to use for AIS
message generation. Up to seven levels can be provisioned, with the restriction that the client
(remote) MEG level must be higher than the local MEG level.
Parameters level — specifies the client MEG level
Values 1 to 7
Default 1
interval
Syntax interval {1 | 60}

Description This command specifies the transmission interval of AIS messages in seconds.
Parameters 1 | 60 — the transmission interval of AIS messages in seconds.
