Parameters number — the maximum number of ICMP unreachable messages to send, expressed as a decimal
integer. The seconds parameter must also be specified.
Values 10 to 100
seconds — the time frame, in seconds, used to limit the number of ICMP unreachable messages that
can be issued, expressed as a decimal integer
Values 1 to 60
ip-mtu
Syntax ip-mtu octets
no ip-mtu
Context config>service>ies>interface
Description This command configures the IP maximum transmit unit (packet size) for this interface.
The no form of the command returns the default value.
Parameters octets — the MTU for the interface
Values 512 to 2048
ipcp
Syntax [no] ipcp
Context config>service>ies>interface
Description This command enables the context to configure IPCP. Within this context, IPCP extensions can be
used to signal the remote IP address and DNS IP address to the PPP peer over the PPP/MLPPP
interface.
This command is only applicable if the associated SAP is a PPP/MLPPP interface.
dns
Syntax dns ip-address [secondary ip-address]
dns secondary ip-address
no dns [ip-address] [secondary ip-address]
Context config>service>ies>interface>ipcp
Description This command defines the DNS address(es) to be assigned to the far end of the associated
PPP/MLPPP link via IPCP extensions. This command is only applicable if the associated SAP or port
is a PPP/ MLPPP interface with an IPCP encapsulation.
