Syntax peer-ip-address ip-address
no peer-ip-address
Context config>service>vprn>if>ipcp
Description This command defines the remote IP address to be assigned to the far end of the associated PPP/
MLPPP link via IPCP extensions.
This command is only applicable if the associated SAP/port is a PPP/MLPPP interface with an IPCP
encapsulation.
The interface must be shut down to modify the IPCP configuration.
The no form of the command deletes the IPCP extension peer-ip-address configuration.
Default no peer-ip-address (0.0.0.0)
Parameters ip-address — a unicast IPv4 address to be signaled to the far end of the associated PPP/ MLPPP link
by IPCP extensions
Values a.b.c.d (unicast only)
mac
Syntax mac ieee-address
no mac [ieee-address]
Context config>service>vprn>interface
Description This command assigns a specific MAC address to a VPRN IP interface.
The no form of this command returns the MAC address of the IP interface to the default value.
Default The physical MAC address associated with the Ethernet interface that the SAP is configured
on.
Parameters ieee-address — the 48-bit MAC address for the static ARP. Allowed values are any non-broadcast,
non-multicast MAC, and non-IEEE reserved MAC addresses.
Values aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff or aa-bb-cc-dd-ee-ff
(where aa, bb, cc, dd, ee and ff are hexadecimal numbers and cannot be all zeros)
