EDM Features (900E Only)
The Wizard 900E is a high-performance programmable DRO designed for EDM
applications. The 900E includes the I/O Option as standard.
NOTE: The Z-axis (Axis 3) must be used as the spark erosion axis for the EDM
functions to work correctly.
The 900E includes the following EDM features:
q EDM Mode (Three Z-Axis Display Mode)
q First Spark Detection Setup
q Z-Depth Guard

EDM Mode allows you to change the display mode for axis displays 1, 2, and 3 to display
three different Z-axis values during the sparking cycle. When you activate EDM Mode,
the DRO turns off the X and Y designations and turns on the leftmost decimal point for
each axis. The following table lists what each axis displays in Normal Mode and EDM
Mode.
