Tractor identification
Machine identification data
The tractor and its main components are identified by
serial numbers and/or manufacturing codes.
NOTE: Identification data should be communicated to your
Argo Tractors Dealer for requests of spare parts or service.
Machine identification plate
The manufacturer's plate is placed outside the cab, on
the left-hand side of the machine.

The manufacturer's plate shows the following data:
- Manufacturer
- Machine type
- Number of authorization for road circulation
- Frame number
- Manufacturing year
- Weights
- Rated engine power in kW
- EC mark
Other data are indicated on the authorization certificate.
Tractor identification number
The vehicle identification number is punched both on the
data plate and on the right-hand front side of the weight

Tractor identification data
The engine has its own serial number stamped on the
engine data plate (3-Fig.1-2).
