WARNING: The NILF produces a low frequency magnetic field. Installing the NILF in proximity of
metal objects or electrical cables can negatively influence the magnetic field which
reduces the LF field coverage.
Open the NILF by removing the screw that is located at the bottom of the housing. To remove the front
cover slightly lift it up and gently pull it off of the rear cover.

Place the NILF onto the door post or the wall at approximately 4 feet (1.2 meters) from the ground and
mark the holes for drilling with a sharp pencil.
