6.3.2 Surface Mounting Spacer
The surface mounting spacer is available for surface mounting the teleCARE IP switch modules, with or
without a back box. The spacer can be mounted directly on to a flat wall surface or on a back box.

6.3.3 Mounting the Spacer on a Back Box
To mount the spacer on a back box, first remove the mounting screws from the back box.
The spacer should be placed over the back box so that the side marked “TOP” will be up. Tighten the
two screws that will hold the back box in place.
