Pset STwrench User Guide

 Compensate value: Can be selected to the Average or Peak value measured in the PVT interval.
 Snug PVT monitoring minimum: Minimum torque for the software algorithm to look for the snug
point. If the snug point is below this value, the torque result is marked as Low.
 Snug PVT monitoring maximum: Minimum torque for the software algorithm to look for the snug
point. If the snug point is over this value, the torque result is marked as High.
 Final target: Compensated torque peak value.
 Final target + PVT compensate interval: Torque peak value not compensate (absolute peak).
The snug point is automatically detected by the software algorithm in real time. After the snug point is
detected, the three rows of yellow LEDs on the STwrench LED ring starts guiding the operator to reach
the target value.
Torque results: If PVT with torque compensation flag is disabled in the Pset parameters, the torque result
is the difference between the torque peak value and the compensate value (average or peak depending
from Compensate value selected. If the flag is enabled, the torque result is the torque peak value.
Angle result: Angle value measured from the Start final angle to the angle value measured at the torque
peak.
The STwrench LEDs, buzzer and vibration devices are activated as follows:
Angle result between Cycle Start and Min. Angle, or snug point below the
minimum value.
Torque within maximum and minimum limits, and snug point within the limits.
Torque result over Max. Torque, or snug point over the maximum point.
NOTE: The result LED indicating the result of the tightening is activated only when the tightening operation is
completed.
Torque over 1
st
percentage (calculated from the snug point and the target value).
Second row of yellow LEDs
Torque over 2
nd
percentage (calculated from the snug point and the target value).
Torque within the minimum and maximum limits; torque having reached the
target value.
It is also activated if the torque is over the maximum value.
The beep emitted by the buzzer starts when the torque goes over the Cycle Start
value; it increases its signal when:
- Torque reaches 1
st
percentage
- Torque reaches 2
nd
percentage
- Torque within the minimum and maximum limits.
