The message waiting indication (MWI) parameters are described in the table below.

Note:
ï‚§ The parameter is applicable only to FXS interfaces.
ï‚§ The device supports only the receipt of SIP MWI NOTIFY
messages (the device doesn't generate these messages).
ï‚§ For more information on MWI, see ''Message Waiting
Indication'' on page 547.
MWI Analog Lamp

Global parameter enabling the visual display of MWI.
You can also configure the functionality per specific calls, using
Tel Profiles (TelProfile_MWIAnalog). For a detailed description of
the parameter and for configuring the functionality in the Tel
Profiles table, see ''Configuring Tel Profiles'' on page 428.
Note:
ï‚§ If the functionality is configured for a specific Tel Profile, the
settings of the global parameter is ignored for calls associated
with the Tel Profile.
ï‚§ The parameter is applicable only to FXS interfaces.
MWI Display

Global parameter enabling the sending of MWI information to the
phone display.
You can also configure the functionality per specific calls, using

Subscribe to MWI

ï‚§ To configure the MWI server address, use the MWIServerIP
parameter.
ï‚§ To configure whether the device subscribes per endpoint or
per the entire device, use the parameter SubscriptionMode.
MWI Server IP Address

[MWIServerIP]
Defines the MWI server's IP address. If provided, the device
subscribes to this IP address. The MWI server address can be
configured as a numerical IP address or as a domain name. If not
configured, the Proxy IP address is used instead.
