7.7.11 Reaction monitoring setting
In addition to wire break monitoring, the process variable can also be sub

ject to reaction monitoring.
Response monitoring Via
E4 MAX. REACTION parameter.
If the process variable (E4) exceeds the maximum value within the reaction
time (t1), the failure behaviour is activated (page 41).
Change monitoring Via
E4 MIN. REACTION parameter.
If, after a process setpoint change, the process variable (E4) does not
change by the min. value within reaction time (t1), the failure behaviour is
activated (page 41).
The change monitoring allows to check whether the system reacts to a
nominal value change.
Figure 12 shows the reaction monitoring of the process variable:
Information If the parameter
E4 REACTION TIME is set to 0, the reaction monitoring is
not working.
