7.12 Redundant bus connection with component redundancy (option)
In addition to the first fieldbus interface, the AUMATIC actuator controls can
be equipped with a second fieldbus interface. The 2nd interface may be
used to increase the operational safety. If one of the interfaces fails, the
other interface automatically takes over (component redundancy).
7.12.1 Configuration check for the second fieldbus interface
This value is set in the factory.

The second interface is a Profibus DP interface board.
7.12.2 Second fieldbus interface setting
The setting of the actuator address is identical to those of the first fieldbus
interface. They are described on page 77 et seqq.
The menu for the second fieldbus interface has to be selected from the
descriptions Via the menu to parameter, e.g.
PROFIBUS DP 2 instead of
PROFIBUS DP 1.
