2. Slide the server cover back from the front panel until the cover’s tabs are released from the
top slot of the front panel.
3. Lift the cover straight up and move it away from the server.
4. Depending on the server model:
l S8500B and S8500C: proceed to Removing the old network interface card on page 146.
l S8500: proceed to Removing the fan unit (S8500 only) on page 146.
