Removing the cover of the server
Complete the following steps to remove the cover of the server:
1. Unscrew the two captive screws on the back of the server, as shown in Figure 57: Captive
screws on page 177.

2. Slide the server cover back from the front panel until the cover’s tabs are released from the
top slot of the front panel.
3. Lift the cover straight up and move it away from the server.
