Checking LED activity on the dual network interface card
When the S8500/B/C server is back in service:
1. Check the LEDs on each port of the dual NIC for network activity:
l S8500C: see Figure 46: S8500C rear panel on page 152.
l S8500B: see Figure 47: S8500B rear panel LEDs on page 153.
l S8500: see Figure 48: S8500 rear panel dual NIC LEDs on page 153.

2. For Ethernet port 0, 1, 3, or 4 if the:
l LED is off: there is a 10 BASE-T active link.
l LED is green: there is a 100 BASE-T active link.
l LED is orange: there is a 1000 BASE-T active link.
