TherearetwowaysofwiringamotortotheDCP31:wiringfordirectmotorrotationandwiring
forreversemotorrotation.Whenwiredfordirectmotorrotation,themotorrotatesinclockwise
(CW
)directionwhenDCP31outputincreases.Therearetwowaysofmakingthemotorro-
tateinthereversedirection(counterclockwise:CCW)dependingonyourcontrolrequirements
(e.g.coolingcontrol):
• ByswitchingthecontroloperatingdirectionontheDCP31withthemotorwiredtothe
DCP31fordirectmotorrotationasitis,or
• BywiringthemotortotheDCP31forreversemotorrotation.
Thecontroloperatingdirection(direct/reverse)canbeswitchedonthiscontroller.Ifthemotor
iswiredtothecontrollerfordirectmotorrotation,theDCP31canbeeasilysetupforcontrolin
eitherdirection.Thismakesiteasiertoremedytroublethatmayoccurduringcontrolleropera-
tion.Forthisreason,werecommendwiringthemotortotheDCP31fordirectmotoroperation.

TheDCP31isalsoprovidedwithafunction(

)fordetectingMFBdisconnec-
tionorshort-circuitifthemotorhasbeenwiredtothecontrollerinthewrongway.
Bythisfunction,theDCP31judgesreversedirectionwiringinthesamewayasdirectdirection
wiring,anddoesnotgenerateanalarm.Ifthesettingofvariableparameter
