7.7.3.4 Linked CLO
Linked CLO and Time of Day
Projectors in a multichannel setup use the same kind of lamp. These lamps may slightly differ in their output and will in certain cases
have different runtimes, this will result in a difference in light output between the projectors.
By using the constant light output in a Master/Slave configuration, it is possible to track and maintain the brightness levels of the
projectors, the projectors will deliver an equal light output.
In a multichannel setup it is possible to link the CLO and Time of Day values of all projectors. One projecto
r will act as master, all
slave projectors will track and maintain the CLO setting of this master projector.

7.7.4.1 Dimmer set positions
What can be done?
The light output of the projector can be dimmed using the Set positions... menu. If the projector has the Night Vision option, both
the CCD and ECR dimmer can be set separately in the dialogbox. It the Night Vision option is not present, only the CCD value can
be set. In this case nor the slider box, nor the edit box for the ECR setting will be visible!
The target settings of the CLO menu are prior to the dimmer set position settings. This means that if CLO
mode is ON, the dimmers will be set in the position to get the target values instead of the dimming set position
values.
How to set the dimmers?
1. Press the MENU key to activate the Menu bar
2. Push the cursor key ← or → to highlight Lamps in the menubar
3. Push the ↓ key to pull down the Lamps menu
4. Push the cursor key ↑ or ↓ to highlight Dimming Control
5. Push the → key to pull down the Dimming Control menu
6. Push the cursor key ↑ or ↓ to select Set Positions... and press E
NTER to select.
