7.11.4.1 Calibration of the CCD
CCD
Constant Contrast Dimmer: this is an optical module which transmits only part of the light beam that comes in on it.
Contrast does not change.
CAUTION: Changing these settings may seriously affect the performance of the projector.
What can be done?
This procedure is meant to calibrate the dimmer: the dimmer is set to its reference positions.
How to start the Dimmer Reference Positions dialog box?
1. Press the MENU key to activate the Menu bar
2. Push the cursor key ← or → to highlight Service in the menubar
3. Push the ↓ key to pull down the Service menu
4. Push the cursor key ↑ or ↓ to highlight Dimming
5. Push the → key to pull down the Dimm ing menu
6. Push the cursor key ↑ or ↓ to select Calibrate CCD... and press ENTER to select.
