Waveform
To set the CO
2
waveform, follow this procedure:
1. Select the CO
2
parameter area or waveform area to enter theCO
2
menu.
2. SelectSetupsubmenu.
3. Set CO
2
waveformWave Mode, Wave SpeedorScale.

Corrections
Temperature, water vapor in the patient’s breath, barometric pressure, and the
proportions of O
2
, N
2
O and Helium in the mixture all influence CO
2
absorption.
For mainstream and sidestream/microflow CO
2
module, you can set the CO
2
correction by following the steps below:
1. Select the CO
2
parameter area or waveform area to enter theCO
2
menu.
2. SelectSetupsubmenu.
3. Please set the following contents according to the actual situation before
correction:
——Gas Temperature: Set the temperature of gas.
——Barometric Pressure: Set the atmospheric pressure.
The system default barometric pressure is 760mmHg, you can selectMain Menu
quick keyfromSystemcolumn to selectMaintenancein

a value between 0.0% and 20.0%. The default value is 0.0%.

Select the type of balance gas, the options are Room Air,
