1.7.2. Removing the P1 or Plug-in Module from the Docking Station
To remove the P1 from the Docking Station as indicated below:
1. Press and hold the latch at the bottom of the P1 or plug-in module.
2. Pull the P1 or plug-in module out as indicated.
1.8. P1 in Use with a Host Monitor
When the P1 is connected to the P series monitor, the P1 works as the parameter
module while P series monitor works as the host monitor. For more information, see 3.6.2
Module Mode. The P1 can be connected to the host monitor through the following parts:
The External parameter module slots of the host monitor
The Auxiliary Module Slots
1.8.1. Connecting the P1 to the Host Monitor through the External parameter
module slots
To connect the P1 to the External parameter module slots of the host monitor, follow
these steps:
1. Insert the P1 to the host monitor’s External parameter module slots. A click is
heard when the P1 is pushed into place.
2. To ensure that P1 is properly connected, try to pull P1 outward. The P1 has
properly engaged the External parameter module slots if it cannot be pulled
out.
